Membership & Requirements

  • You are invited to join Air Combs Virtual by clicking here or by selecting the "Get Flying" button on our homepage.
    This will guide you through our registration process where you'll need to complete all required details.

    Once your initial application is submitted, you'll receive an email with the next steps. These include completing our Pilot Entry Test, which covers knowledge of our fleet, online flying procedures, and Air Combs policies. The test consists of 20 multiple-choice questions, and you will have 30 minutes to complete it. Please note that you must attempt the test within 2 hours, or your application will be rejected.

    We strongly recommend reviewing our Pilot Handbook (provided in the email) before starting the test, as it contains key guidelines to help you succeed.

  • We require you to complete at least one flight every 30 days.
    If you are a new pilot, you must submit your first PIREP within 7 days from application.

  • No, we welcome everyone to our Air Combs Virtual family, whether you're just starting out or a licensed real-world pilot. Our Combcademy program offers resources for beginners, and our community is always available to provide support to new pilots.

  • Yes! Training and mentoring sessions are provided through our Combcademy program. We highly encourage new and inexperienced virtual pilots to take advantage of this offering. If you're interested, please contact us through our website and request mentoring assistance. One of our mentors will contact you to arrange training.

    Additionally, all pilots have access to useful documentation regarding Air Combs Virtual operations in the resources section of our website (Crew Portal coming soon).

  • Yes, absolutely! We have pilot sharing agreements with several other virtual airlines including Bouncy Virtual Airlines, vFedUp, vZestyAir, Nausea Virtual, and others. This means you can fly for multiple organizations while maintaining your status with Air Combs Virtual. Simply select which airline you want to fly for when logging in to your account.

Flight Operations

  • You can use any major flight simulator of your choice (Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024, X-Plane 11/12, P3D, FSX). In addition, you must download our flight tracking software "Pegasus" which will be provided in the Pilot Portal. This tracks all your flight data and validates your flights. You will also need FSUIPC which builds a connection between your flight simulator and our tracking system.

    Our Combcademy program includes tutorials on setting up all required software for new pilots who need assistance.

  • Yes, you can fly on all supported online flying networks, including VATSIM, IVAO, POSCON, and PilotEdge. We highly encourage our pilots to fly on these networks for an enhanced and more realistic experience.

  • We offer a wide variety of flights across our network, from Cambodia to destinations worldwide. These include:

    • Air Combs - Our mainline passenger operations
    • Air Combs Cargo - Our dedicated freight operations
    • Comber - Our regional division handling shorter routes

    From short regional hops to long-haul international journeys, we provide diverse options for all our virtual pilots.

  • Yes, we regularly host events and group party flights to foster community engagement. These include focus city events, community fly-ins, and special occasion flights. All participants in our events receive bonus flight hours and experience points.

  • Liveries for all aircraft in our fleet are available on our website (Crew Portal coming soon). These include our ATR 72, Airbus A320, A320neo, A330neo, A350, Boeing 777, B777F, and B787 aircraft.

  • Yes, you will need a Navigraph Subscription that gives you access to up-to-date Jeppesen Charts and SimBrief Flight Planning solutions. These tools are required for all Air Combs Virtual pilots to ensure accurate navigation and proper flight planning across our network.
